Dates: March 27, 28, 29

Transportation

All parents are responsible for their player's travel to Spokane and should plan to arrive on Thursday March 26.  Wave information will not be availabe until just before the tournament.  Some teams will be in the AM Wave and some will be in the PM Wave.

Hotel Information

  • The Team will be staying at the Davenport Tower
  • 3 Player Rooms, 2 coach rooms, 1 Chaperone rooms are all covered by the club
  • Parents need to find their own accomodations - there is no parent block reserved.
  • We recommend parents book rooms as soon as possible.  You may find additional rooms available at the Davenport Hotel, but there is no negotiated rate for parents.

Parent Volunteers

  • (1) Chaperone Hotel is covered  - please read requirements for Parent Chaperones
  • Additional volunteer to coordinate travel with families (arrival/departure times) and ensure all players have transportation.
  • Assist chaperone in meal planning and activities.

Adv Hitting Clinic for HS Club players - Monday 1/20

REGSITRATION OPENS TOMORROW, JAN 14 @ 8:00AM.
 
We are excited to have some extra gym space this year and offer some positional clinics at a reduced rate for our club players.  We still have limited space but we are planning to offer varying positional clinics on Mondays from 6-7 pm.  Watch your email each week for the opportunities.
 
The first one will be Advanced Hitting.  First 10 to register.  'Go to our Register now button and select "Single Day Clinics" under the drop down to find the clinic when it opens at 8am on Jan 14
 
NOTE:  When you go to pay, your team dues will show up - be sure to make sure you are only paying for the clinic - you can adjust what you pay on the payment page, but you have to pay attention or it will charge you for both the next dues payment and the clinic.

USAV- SafeSport Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies (MAAPP):

Cascade Volleyball Club is committed to the safety of all participants and adheres to the required Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies (MAAPP) https://www.teamusa.org/usa-volleyball/about-us/safesport/maapp set forth by USA Volleyball and the Puget Sound Region. Policies include:

  1. One-on-One Interactions, including meetings and individual training sessions (Covered Organizations/LAOs are required to establish reasonable procedures to limit one-on-one interactions, as set forth in federal law).
  2. Massages and rubdowns/athletic training modalities.
  3. Locker rooms and changing areas.
  4. Social media and electronic communications.
  5. Local travel.
  6. Team travel.
