Northwest Jamboree – Yakima

Dates: March 14th & 15th

Transportation

All parents are responsible for their player's travel to Yakima and should plan to arrive on Friday March 13th.  .

Hotel Information

·        The Team will be staying at the Holiday Inn Downtown Yakima

·        3 Player Rooms, 2 coach rooms, 1 Chaperone rooms are all covered by the club

·        Parents need to find their own accommodations - there is no parent block reserved.

·        We recommend parents book rooms as soon as possible.  You may find additional rooms available at the Holiday Inn Downtown Yakima, but there is no negotiated rate for parents.

Parent Volunteers

·        (1) Chaperone Hotel is covered  - please read requirements for Parent Chaperones

·        Additional volunteer to coordinate travel with families (arrival/departure times) and ensure all players have transportation.

Membership Upgrades Now Available

Puget Sound Region has now opened registration for club player  to upgrade their membership, which will expire on 12/31/2019.

Once you upgrade your daughter's membership, please email us copy of her USAV membership card.

Mandatory Junior Work Team Training

Hello Families,
 
Please use this link to register for the mandatory In-House Work Team Training Hosted by Cascade Volleyball and your Clinician will be Steven Choi. 
 
(this link is for Peak and Crest, even though it states 17s/18s on the registration page)
The Crest and Peak clinics will be held at North Seattle Church from 6:45 - 9:45pm on December 12th.
 
No write-ins on the roster OR walk-ins on the day of the Clinic. NO EXCEPTIONS.
You must be a current USAV member. Registration for this course will close 24 hrs prior to the clinic.
 
Please let your coach know as soon as possible if you cannot attend your scheduled date. We have limited space and dates to offer these clinics.

Please check your team calendar on a weekly basis.  If a practice change occurs, as long as you have the correct contact information in our system, you will receive an email notice.  Rarely, but sometimes (as in the case of bad weather) – this notice may only happen just before your scheduled practice. 

During basketball season, locations and times can vary – please ALWAYS CHECK YOUR CALENDAR.  Please do not pre-load practice dates into your own calendar.

Minor Athlete Prevention Policies (MAAPP)

USAV- SafeSport Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies (MAAPP):

Cascade Volleyball Club is committed to the safety of all participants and adheres to the required Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies (MAAPP) https://www.teamusa.org/usa-volleyball/about-us/safesport/maapp set forth by USA Volleyball and the Puget Sound Region. Policies include:

  1. One-on-One Interactions, including meetings and individual training sessions (Covered Organizations/LAOs are required to establish reasonable procedures to limit one-on-one interactions, as set forth in federal law).
  2. Massages and rubdowns/athletic training modalities.
  3. Locker rooms and changing areas.
  4. Social media and electronic communications.
  5. Local travel.
  6. Team travel.
